Fuel filter change, '99 SLE.
Finally swapped out my fuel filter at 114K. Took ten minutes and went like a charm.
The old filter was pretty plugged up. I put up a post here a few months ago asking if it was time to change my fuel pump because it was making so much noise.
It wasn't the pump-it was the partially plugged filter. Took it for a ride around the block to check for leaks, and the pump noise has diminished to a barely noticeable hum.
$11 at the parts puppies. Change yours this weekend!

Prolly was the pump making the noise, because the filter was so plugged that it was straining the pump. I like to change mine every 30k.

Yup, my thoughts exactly.
Obviously, I will up the maintenance schedule in the future.
