Back to the gas tank
Ah, so a few weeks ago, I replaced my sending unit, and while I was at it, I replaced the fuel pump and the flex pressure line.
Now, the car needs to turn over for about 45 seconds before it starts.
First, a 30 second key-turn, then a 15 second one. It seems to start faster if its been running.
I suspect the new fuel pump is allowing fuel pressure to leak back into the tank, and/or the new pump can't pressurize the fuel lines fast enough. Nothing else has been changed on the car.
There are no visible leaks. The car used to start immediately.
I suspect I will be dropping the tank and putting a (second) new fuel pump in during the next few days. Luckily, its been nice and everything should still be a bit loose from the last adventure.
Any thoughts?

Since it'* more than likely the pump, I might recommend driving it as little as possible until you can get that pump swapped out. If that fuel pump gives out or pumps too little fuel while running down the road, something bad could happen. I'd imagine it'* possible that you could start leaning out, and it all goes down hill from there.
Can you hear the pump trying to pressurize the fuel system if you turn the key forward, but not start it? If so, is it a uniform, constant noise or does it sound like it ranges up and down?
I'm kind of wondering if there could possibly be air in the line too. Probably pretty unlikely, but possible. Perhaps a fuel pressure test could give you a little bit better info before you drop the tank again... and tell you whether there'* air in there somewhere or not.
