Default bunch of warnigh light are on

the service engine, anti-lock, & tractio control lights have been on since I got the car. I know that the engine light can be a sensor & I have to look into it, but what are some common sensors that usually go bad on this engines? & for the ABS & traction, where should I start looking? By the way I know my cat is bad, cause it rattles like it has pieces of rusted metal inside.

Call around to some auto parts stores and ask if they can pull the codes for you, or rent (for free) a code reader so you can do the same. Make sure you tell them the year and make of your car. You may have some troubles assuming that this is the '95, as it has an OBDII under dash connector (ALDL) and a PCM that uses OBDI protocol. Use the search feature to read about 94 or 95 scan tools.

For the traction control and ABS lights, the problem is often a wheel speed sensor. These are located behind the wheels on the hubs. Unplug the electrical connection to each, apply a little dielectric grease, and reconnect them.

with the ABS and Traction lights on, it will either be the ABS/Traction control pump, or a wheel speed sensor. A dealer (I believe) is the only one who can scan it to tell you which wheel speed sensor it is, if it turns out to be that.

It could be the EBCM, PMV, wheel speed sensor, or wiring. And yes, only a dealer can pull the codes.

On the Zilla, I pulled the bulbs out of the cluster. That'* how I discovered my rear steering.

In the future, CLEARLY state which car you're talking about.
