The TA mount is a biatch to get out. Particularly on the S1 L67.
Been there.. it'* not overly tough. To get the body side, which has the rubber mount to it. 2 bolts from the top..and loosen the two in the bottom.

Now the other side..because you have to disassemble everything.. ugh.

well, I think the rear one is gone. $50 at autozone here for a new one. Wonder if Bill can get one cheaper by him (will send part number).

While looking at the motor, I also noticed it looked like the TA mount in the picture on my car is turned slightly. By turned, I mean the part that attaches to the frame seems to have the back towards the engine too much.

That'* a sure sign another mount has let go, allowing the motor to turn in the slop of the busted TA mount.

We're on track here. Personally, I'd replace the TA mount first, as the rear trans mount being bad will make it easier to jack the motor up on the belt end. Then do the rear trans mount.

From my experience.. He would only need to change the body side mount correct? The one'* I've dealt with..it unbolts and comes straight up while the engine can stay where it is, no?

Geoff...send that part number to my AIM and I'll check on it tonight while I'm looking into a battery for Tracy.

There are two mounts on the driver'* side. One to the rear of the trans, one to the front. For the front, you have to jack the motor up some. Probably for the rear as well.
