1994 Blower Motor Hose. Part# ?
Today i noticed smoke coming from under the hood.... Holly ***t!!!
I opened the hood.. white almost odorless smoke was coming from the metal pipe (sorry i dont know the proper name for it) where the O2 sensor is located... from behind the sensor ... Judging by amount and velocity of the smoke looked like something leaked there.... but i don't really know... i started checking for possible cause...
The only thing i noticed was the hose that goes from blower motor into firewall, The part that goes into firewall fell apart when i touched it, like a cookie....
Autozone and GM dealer couldn't find the part # for it... Maybe because it was end of the day on Friday...
Please help...
Thank you

same thing as in this post
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...wer+motor+hose
took it off few minutes ago... the hose seems to be fine... but seems that there was another hose or tube inside that was connecting it to the firewall... that thing inside turned into crap
Question now is what can i use to fix it? Or anything that would provide firm fix would work?

There is supposed to be a Nub on the Plastic HVAC system cover... The cover deteriorates with heat over the years and eventually disintegrates... To properly fix the issue the Insulation Barrier must be replaced...
I have not replaced mine.. But I adapted a piece of Plastic Pipe of some sort to repair mine and to hold it in place I used some Wire ties.. Its rigging at its finest.. Its been about 2 years and its still there...lol
If for any reason I ever have the engine and trans out I will replace the Barrier with one from a new car if possible..
