Tranny compatability
would a transmission from a 1993 sse work in a 94 ssei?
i would assume it would unless like everything else on a bonniville it has a hidden agenda lol.. for instance a computer issue thanks

The 1994 SSEi requires a 4T60-E HD trans and the 1993 SSE tranny is non-HD unit. Gearing is different too. Then there is also the gremlin we refer to as 1994/95 OBD-1.5, so the wiring harness probably has different pinouts.

The 94/95 transmissions have different pin out on the wiring because they have a fluid temp sensor which is not in 93 and earlier transmissions. Also other isssues as mentioned by others
