I have a 95 SSE and i have also had a minor tranny problem. It seems that on a few rare occasions when i am driving down the road in OD my car will suddenly go from a nice 2k RPM at around 65 or so to 2500 RPM and then after a minute or so it goes to 3k RPM. Then after this I can shift from D to OD without any notice of change. I think maybe its a throttle position sensor, i dunno though.

Ahhh it has gotten worse. Now the car will now stay at around 2,500 RPMs at about 60 mph then it will kick and the RPMs will go up to 3,000. I guess OD decided to quit working all together. Anyone that can help i'd greatly appriciate it. I've heard it could be a throttle position sensor but i'm not certain.

No, haven't had the money to take it to get scanned, and it seems to have fixed itself.........for now. at least for the most part.
