Default traction control problem

does anyone know why i might be having this problem with me traction control....i cant turn it off when i first bought the car it was always off (said "traction control" on the dash) and the ABS light was always on....i got the car scaned and it came up with tons of codes mostly for wheel speed scensors and the ABS pump thing (not sure what its called). Put the car on the hoist clean the wss conections and sudered a broken wire for the front right sensor.after that the ABS ans Traction control light where off and the ABS worked just fine (found that out the scary way) but the TC never disengages or stays on now that i think about it (because the car lays some nice rubber) any way anyone got any ideas???

I do not know a lot about traction control ,but I do know your wheel speed sensor needs to be working. From work another car(94 corsica) I think if the abs light is on you have no abs

It can be half a dozen things. The only way to know is either guess or have it scanned again.

Or learn to live without it. I'd hate to not know when it'* going to fail, then have it fail at a critical moment.
