Kennginn has some reflex struts available that let you keep the ELC ( check the For Sale Section ....the CCR is a terrible system, and most just disable it because it really sux

ELC is in the rear and when you put a heavy load in the back of the car or have passengers in the car the Air Pump fills the rear shocks to level out the car....its a really neat feature

CCR is the one of the worst systems that GM has ever made....there are 2 modes Touring and Performance mode.....through eletrical current the struts change there damping rate to allow the softer ride in touring and a firmer ride in performance....GM no longer makes the CCR struts....

I believe CCR was a Bonneville option only, like the HUD. Replacement struts were grossly exspensive, when they were available. From what I've heard, Monroe Reflex out handle performance ride anyway. Get them while you still can, though. They've been discontinued as well.

Note that both ELC and CCR are options, and not every Bonneville has them. My 97SE has neither, but maybe it'* an SSEi thing or something. (Someone please clear this up.) So you might not have them to begin with. And like others have said, even people who have them generally replace them with non-ELC, non-CCR struts, and get a good ride anyway. I've driven other cars that have ELC, and I must admit that'* a pretty cool feature. Had my car come with it, I'd want to keep it. Either way, as long as you go with a high quality replacement, you'll be fine. Stay away from cheapies. The stock ones are really quite good.
