Default Belt question.

This is hopefully my last question for awhile. Normally would spend much more time looking for answers and less time asking questions, but I'm really close to finishing this engine and real short on time. Anyway the way you put the belts on an ssei is to unbolt the motor mount from the frame and jack the engine up with a floor jack until you can slide the belt underneath, is that correct?

That is one way to do it.

Here is a link to other ways with and without jacking the engine.

Just noticed you have a '93. I didn't think Series one needed to jack the motor or remove the spacer for a belt change.

UH WHOA!!!!!

Belts on a 93 are done w/o touching any motor mounts.

Only 96+ SC motors need the "special treatment".
