Default K & N Air Filter

I plan on buying a K&N Air Filter this upcoming friday when i receive my paycheck. I was checking them out at autozone and it looks like they come in a kit with multiple pieces? They are priced at 49.99 also. Do you guys know which type i need or if i am looking at the wrong stuff. I've never messed with the air filters before so this is gonna be somewhat of a small project for me. I'm only 16 so i'm tryin to learn everything here so advice would be appreciated.

what kind of air filter are you looking at? the stock rectangle one or a cone filter? if you are going with the rectangle one, just go with the part number that k&n says and it should fit perfectly. i don't think they make a k&n cone filter for the bonnevilles, (i could be wrong) so u might have to do a custom job with this. i used a copy-cat k&n cone filter and made my own pipe. whatever you do, i hope that this helps.

92/93 are the same as the 94-99. Perfect fit. I know they're not always listed.

I think that you should save your change and get one of Hectors intakes(filter included) if your wanting to really be able to feel the increase in power. I put in a filter about a year ago and coldn't really tell a difference but when I put on the new intake the diff. was very noticeable.

Get Hectors!! I got the K&N replacement and there really isn't enough improvement to notice. It may be reusable and will last, but mine was $72!!! Getting an intake (powdercoated) from Hector for only $75 more is worth it!! Even the aluminum for $195.
