Default cool

cooloant keeps the engine cool via the radiator and thermostat. Too much air could lean out your car and burn a cylinder valve.

you can install a 180* thermo to cool it down

use the search feature and look up "Rice Pipe" and read up on the subject of installing an Intake

why would you want to?? We have seen many EGR-less 3800'* go 250k and even some 300K and higher

you have the Alum, upper intake, that dosent accept the EGR, along with a front mani that dosent have the EGr tube. then you must deal with the wiring issue

This engine has been doing fine the way it was designed since 92. Adding an EGR 14 years later isn't going to help anything.

He could keep driving it. 14 years is a good amount of time for the car. It'* running good...heck..most mechanics would tell you to leave it alone.

A CAI and a 180* 'stat are sensible mods.

The question is: Why are you asking about cooling the engine more? Not that it'* a bad thing to do, but is there a specific reason you are asking?

You could always run air intake pipes up from under the rad to blow on into the engine bay (it'* been done), but it only really helps at highway speeds, when you least need it.

You can put hood vents in or buy a cowl style hood.

The question still remains...what is your intent?
