Default 95SSE turned 200,000 Friday!!!

She did it! Even though the transmission has been whining for 25,000 miles, My 95 SSE cruised right past 200,000 the other day and didn't miss a beat. I never thought I'd get there without a tranny swap, but the old girl keeps hanging in there. The 3800 is still awesome uses half a quart between 5000 mile changes. I still get 28 MPG consistanly. Rides like a dream, and when properly washed still turn heads. This has been the best car I've ever owned mechanically. Guess I'll keep my eyes out for 300k now.

Way to gooooo........I'm right behind you with 180K. I'm on my second engine with 63K, original tranny and SC. Car runs faster than with original motor. If I have my way they'll bury me in this car. Ya' gotta love a Bonneville. See you at 300K.
