I have water in my spare tire compartment in my trunk. How the hell does this get there and how can i fix the problem?

If you have time this weekend, take everything out (carpets included) and spray more water in there, but dont flood it. Spray water on the trunk lid also, and see where it leaks in at. Just an idea

Do you have a sunroof?

the SSE has a sunroof that is ever so slightly open and I suspect that is how it ended up flooded...

no i dont have a sunroof.
