Default Timing chain question

I`ve got a 94 SE with 157,000 miles and the original timing chain. Are the original gears both steel or is one of them still Teflon like the older ones? Also, when do you recommend changing the timing chain?

I believe the gears are steel. A recommendation on changing the timing chain i'm not for sure.

Default timing chain

The 3800 uses roller lifters which decreases the torque put on the chain.
If the car was maintained properly and shows no sign of trouble I wouldn't worry
about the timing chain and gear. It also has a tensioner to take up any slack in the chain.
