Default Part number for power steering return assy.

I need to replace my power steering return line on my 93 SSE. Thankfully I have the newer of the 2 versions of the cooler, the one with the small finned box as opposed to the funky long tube (see randman1'* pics in the post below, I need the one in the 2nd pic):

Doe anyone have the part number for the entire assy. as pictured? I've been calling around and there is some confusion. Auto Zone for instance quoted me $19.95 (it even supposedly included the cooler!) and also said that a separate mounting kit was needed as well. I got real suspicious. Folks on this site have said that this thing is all one piece and 20 bucks sounds too good to be true.

Also, is this part used on all later than 93 models as well?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not finding the P/N at this time....sorry...

On the other hand, while it sounds off, it might be worth it to check the Autozone part out. I recently bought a complete heater core for $16, new at AZ.

According to my Magic Book, as long as you're not supercharged, you have one part number for the return line for 92-94, and a different one for 95, then yet another for 96-99.

That being the case, the 92-94 part number is 26036050.

GM PART # 26036050
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $153.57
OUR PRICE: $91.03
DESCRIPTION: HOSE ASM-

However, a catalog search of GMPD shows 26042308 as your correct part.

GM PART # 26042308
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $141.58
OUR PRICE: $83.92
DESCRIPTION: HOSE ASM-
I would assume one of these parts would be right. Take this info (print the topic) to your dealer and have them pull them up for you to see on the computer.

I don't rememberfor sure but I thought I had read in an old post about this that 93'* had the "old" style cooler which was the long snakey tube and later models had the finned box. But my '93 has the finned box which led me to believe that either it had been replaced or that some 93'* had one type and some the other. For example, randman1 replced a snakey tube type with a finned box type which makes me think that more than one part number may apply. I also had called Pep Boys and they said that their manufacturer listed one part number but it was obsoleted (no longer made nor avaialble). I wonder if that one was the tube-type. BTW, they had no way to cross ref a GM part number.

willwren, just to be sure, could you please post the p/ns for 95 AND 96-99 as well? Then maybe I could ask for any of them and see for myself what it is exactly.

Thanks!
