Default Sparkplug question

I pulled one of my spark plugs today, it has about 1000 miles on it its a AC delco plug anyways, the electrode and the part it sparks off of is a very solid light brown all over then in some spots its dark brown...does this mean anything or is this just normal?

Spark residue? I would think thats a good thing to have on a spark plug. That Delco plug is doing its job nicely
