Default my poor dash :(

I just receiced my NEW pioneer deh 8400 mp3 cd/mp3 player and i was really excited to install it so i did. well I found out that the face plate doesnt slide out all the way and hits the bottom piece of plastic on the stock stereo molding. There was no way around it i couldnt get a spacer and i couldnt buy a new cdplayer so i had to CUT the dash :( it looks horrible i did the best i could w/a dremel tool but anything other than stock looks bad Anyone know what i can do? I was thinking of getting another dash piece and trying to redo the job or getting a another piece and molding/ gluing a pice then bondo to make it look smooth and getting it all redyed.
Ill have pics as soon as i can but if anyone has any clue what i should do or ideas let me know. youll prolly come up w/ more ideas once the pics come.

well thats enough complaing for now.
i just hope if anyones looking to get a pioneer deh 8400mp3 dual face cdplayer for their bonny to reconsider.

yes and no lol I rigged it so it looks ok and you really dont notice it that much when the player is out. But i still have to find a better way to set this up. I was thking of adding a neon light bar to cover the hole but i havent found any in red so i have to keeep looking.
ive been super busy getting rid of all the rattles in my trunk and getting the rest of my car sound proof. so i have to keep on thinking of ideas on how to fix it. ill send u a pic once i get more photos developed. i just have semi far away shots.
