Alright, I recently bought a 1997 SSEi Supercharged Bonneville. Great car I love, but there is a small cylinder in the back near the muffler that rattles. It hasn't affected the cars performance, but it sounds like a bad electrical connection. I'm an novice car guy a best and have no idea what it is or if it needs to be replaced. It only rattles ever so often so I;m guessing it'* connected to some sort of auxilery device. Any suggestions or has anyone seen this before. The dealer said it was a loose heat shield, B.*.

Thanks guys appreciate it. When I bought the car it seemed just like a nother vehicle, but a lot of people are telling about the how awesome the motors are. Mine is in great condition accept for a few minor things. I'm sure everyone will say "yes" ,but is this a car thats really worth putting some money into and mod up? My car has a lot of miles though 196K.

I've put a little money into mine, most of it elective or preventative. They money I have put in is alot less than car payments and I have alot better car. I look forward to many more miles of travel.

My 94 has almost 190K and I just replaced the Gas tank, Fuel Pump, Sending unit, Two tranny mounts an alternator and soon to be Upper Tensioner Pulley. So yeah its worth it. Saved ALLOT of money doing the work with Fellow club members.
