Acceleration Rattle (Update, not fixed, but different)
I've got a rattle during hard acceleration. Sounds like it'* coming from the pulley side. Usually upper RPMs. Timing chain, pulley?

I'll try that tomorrow. I know it isn't the SC tensioner pulley, it'* been replaced with the ZZP with no change in rattle. It'* been around a while. Normally don't hear it unless I really get on it.

While you're at it, see if you can get us some Audio of the sound. The toughest part of this is describing it and having the description understood. Knowing if it changes pitch with engine RPM'* can help alot, too, or if it seems to come about a specific RPM. Do it with the windows/roof open, and try to pinpoint the direction better. Do this with a very observant passenger as well.

I did get some video tonight, but the rattle didn't wanna come out. Barely heard any of it, but got some desent blower whine on video. But even if I could here the rattle, the camera picks up too much other noise to hear it, sounds like static.

The same phenomena happened to me and it turned out to be the harmonic balancer. The rubber had separated from the metal pully. We found this by taking off the serpintine and spinning each pully, the crank done as a joke (see if we were strong enough to crank the engine) but turned out to be the culprit.
Pray its not the balancer.....not a cheap fix :(

Tonight the rattle was prevalent. I was passing a slower car, the rattle showed up, I backed off a little till it went away, then added some more gas. The rattle came back, but with a little bit of grinding noise to it. I backed off again, and it didn't come back. I still haven't got around to checking my balancer. I'm a little worried about the extra grinding that accompanied it tonight.
