Default Tail-lights

Hey this is an opinion question. I loved the way my tail lights turned out on the other bonne when i tinted them black. Now that i have a 96 and i have the newer styled taillgiths..do you guys think it would look good to tint them?

Go For It!!!

I think the black tints would work good, it would give it a uniform look since the rear lights are like one whole unit. With the black area in the middle beneath the SSEi logo...the tints would make it look really sharp!!

I say do it, should be interesting to hear other opinions

Good luck

I think it would look pretty nice if you only did about half as dark as the original ALIEN. If you decide to go with it, I probably wouldn't tint the reverse lights again (you'll need a little vision for when you 20% tint those windows!)

THE TINTS HAVE MAAD POTENTIAL!

I agree 100%. I had to leave my reverse lights clear because of my tint on the windows. I would have been blind. If you keep 'em light, you can always go back later with more coats. With the 'pontiac' bar across, you may find another look that suits it better. I've never seen a 96-99 tinted, so it'll be cool to see what it comes out like.

It would look good with just a hint of the red left in.
The backup and signal lights would look good as is under the newly 'hint of tint'...

That car looks good in blue, by the way.

Ok, lol..it sounds unanimous. I suppose i will do that pretty soon here. I'm getting my windows tinted 20% all the way around next friday in the morning. Then within that next week i'm getting those exhaust tips welded on at midas. Probably in the meanwhile i'll tint the tail lights. I think i should use the glossy laquer this time, don't you guys think? The dull kinda made it look too..ehh..i dunno. I think glossy looks uniform with everything else.

I used the semi-gloss. The gloss showed too many imperfections. If you don't like the gloss, you can semi it later.

I'm gonna suggest 35% on your front driver and passenger windows. That'* what I have, and even that is REALLY dark at night. Hard to see. 20% everywhere else is cool.
