Oil Sludge
Man oh man....
Just changed my oil and found sludge on the end of the plug...I have no idea how it got there and it'* the first time I've ever seen it like that.
My 95SE has 160K (just turned), and I've changed the oil myself except for two times. I use the AC Delco PF47 and Valvoline 10W-30. My last oil change was done by my mechanic as he regasketed the upper and lower intake in April....
About two weeks ago I put some Chevron Techronn in the gas tank....could the sludge have come from this?
My neighbor told me that putting the Techron in the fuel tank gathers all the crap from the tank and pushes it through the system....doing the opposite of what it should...........any truth to this????
I've been in diagnosis mode trying to find my loss of power and hiccup..almost like a light backfire or pop....I think I'm losing the signal from my crank sensor??? Will a bad crank sensor cause bad performance/loss of power??......or just a no start???
Any other thoughts from the legends? What should I do?

Your gas choice will not cause sludge to buildup. It could just be some stuff settling in the oil pan. If you're really worried keep an eye on your oil pressure (always a good thing) and if you're VERY worried, pull the oil pan.
