radiator */c non-*/c..Goods/bads what to look for when buyin
Will it matter if a regular radiator is put in a */c bonneville? I finally found one local in my price range but he said it had a bad radiator, but he had a good one he was going to put in. I dont know if the rad came out of a */c'ed bonneville or not, and was curious if it would make a difference?
Also, What do i need to look for when looking at them? Goods/bads on bonnevilles, i'm going tonight, so i need this info asap, any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks, Jeff

I'm totally confused. Is this for a POTENTIAL bonneville that you may buy?
If it'* 92-95 (maybe newer years, I'm not sure enough to say) you CANNOT use a non-supercharged radiator in a supercharged bonneville. The SC cars have 3-core radiators.
2-core radiators on non-sc: Coolant and Trans.
3-core radiators on SC cars: Coolant, Trans, and Engine oil.

Yes, This is a potential i might have bought, but after seeing it.. i dont honestly care if it has a radiator or a mouse-in-ator. it was a true junk-a-roo. Anyway, i am still interested in what i need to watch out for on these cars when i am looking.. Maybe i should delete this thread and start a thread 'what to look for when buying' ..what do you think, maybe it will clear some stuff up.
thanks, Jeff

What to look for between SSEI or SSE an SE
Well first thing - SSEI is the Supercharged model and under the hood you will find on radiator driver side has transmission cooler and on the passenger side has the oil cooler. SSE on the other token may or may not have the same but most models I believe do. but on the SE models dont.
