I have a 1998 SSEi, mine does that but my switch is round and has programed 1, 2, 3, c for close, 1 vent (sits up) 2 opens all the way, 3 half way. it also closes when the car is shut off, it does open up when it'* over 1/4 of the way open, kind of a PITA when you're not paying attention in the rain.
