CRUISE CONTROL MODULES
Hey Team, will a '93 crusie control module work in my '94 SSE? I've checked all the vac lines and they look good. I'll have a mech. friend check the module out. But just in case, I've found a couple '93s for $36 each.

Fixed. It was the cruise control servo(no module in '94). Got one from a '93 bonnie, $26 bucks. Nice to able to cruise at set speed on the highway!

Crusie Control slacks off
I have what seems to be an odd problem with my 95 SSE. The cruise control will occasionally fail to maintain setpoint and start drifting down in speed slowly. If I turn it off, drive for another 1-15 minutes, then turn it back on it is fine for a while. Then the whole sequence starts again.
If I just push the accelerator while it is struggling, then it will begin to hold again, and all is well for a while.
If I just just let it drift down until it gets to a pint it can hold, say drifting down from 75 to 55, then after several minutes the traction light will come on and stay on until I turn off the car and restart it.
I can't find a vacuum leak, but it sure seems like there is one somewhere. Can someone point me to a good resource for technical info on this year model. I just got it from a guy a couple of years ago, and I've decided that my years of ignoring Bonneville'* was a mistake. It'* a far better can then I ever thought they were.

This topic is more than a year old. Please don't dig up old topics.
Can you start a new one with your problem? Your fix may very likely be different than this topic, and we won't have to read about someone else'* car to get to your information.
