there'* no power going to the starter? Have you checked the starter solenoid? If it'* from the factory alarm.. you mean the pass-key? Then the security light would stay on.. it should crank.. but not fire.
Check the starter solenoid for power first.. then check all cables including ground from starter back to the battery and such.
EDIT:
You should see 3 cables goin to the starter
One of them is for the solenoid to engage.. the other is full time power and the other ground.. both hot cables dead?

Do you have another key? Either way, clean the contacts on the key and in the ignition with a q-tip and alcohol.
Check all your cables, remove them all (including grounds), clean them, and put them back. Can you get it to crank by shorting the terminals on the solonoid with a screwdriver?

If there'* an Ace Hardware or similar near you, they (and most locksmiths, I assume) will have a "PASSkey Interrogator" that should identify which of the 15 possible resistance values is in the chip in your key, and cut you a replacement. You can always go to the dealer, but it'll cost you.
If that doesn't work, the problem may be dirty/worn contacts within the ignition key cylinder in the steering column.
Yes, with some gymnastics you can get into the dash and cut in a resistor of the correct value to bypass the ignition key in that circuit, but hopefully it won't come to that (since among other things, it'll defeat the hotwiring protection of the system).

My 93 one time would not turn over, turn the key to start, the security light would blink. So i turned the key to on, crawled uner the car, and crossed the contacts on the starter, it turned over fine, did not catch, the VATS would not let it start. Had it towed, Spent 600 bucks having a new Key switch with VATS and two new keys all done. Ouch. that hurt the pocket book.
