160K Miles on Original Intake Manifold ('98 Series II N/A)
I took the plastic engine cover off today to find I have what looks to be a Plastic Intake Manifold! With 160,000 mi, this can't be the original can it? How can I tell? I don't want to have to worry about it failing!

I doub't its the original... It must have been replaced somewhere along the line... Its rare that we see one last 160k... Even the Dorman I replaced mine with had a date stamp on it...
Glad that its been replaced, but I do wonder how long ago that was..

It would be unusual for your intake to not have any dates on it at all.

I noticed a small amount of coolant oozing out one of the corners, and a nice gap between my throttle body and UIM, sort of makes a high pitched whistle/suckign noise above 2800rpms
