Worse case scenario.. you may have to pull the radio out.. and check the plugs to ensure that you get full time power.. the orange fat wire.. check your ground to see if its open or short.. and check the ignition switch.. I don't remember the colour scheme off the top of my head as mine was the Bose system.. so I don't know if the color scheme is different

If all the wiring checks out.. jump full time power to ignition switch *carefully* from a 12 volt source ( make sure your ground is connected too) on the back of the radio and see if the radio turns on.. if it doesn't.. that means the internal fuse is blown and or the radio is dead.. if it works.. look at the above.. that means theres an open somewhere and or like you stated.. the fuse isn't in.

P.*. Did you ensure that the fuse isn't open? ( sometimes its hard to tell just by lookin.. especially without sufficient light.. ) I don't remember if the stock wiring has a fuse for the ignition or not since mine is aftermarket and I have glass fuses also for the antenna and ignition switch

there is a feature on the radio called Theftlock. when the battery is disconnected or the radio is removed the radio locks and cnat be used untill the correct code it programmed back in.

mostlikely if the display on the radio says LOC its a trip to the dealer

It sounds like the radio is messed up, the amp might have a part in this equasion too

The Radio is easy to remove.. just take a flat screw driver and pry gently around and there'* all these pressure points that come out.. then 3 screws.. 2 on the left and 1 on the right of the radio and out comes the unit.. I just took my radio in and out last Sunday.. I will see if I got time again tonight to take some pics of removing the dash piece.
