Replace fuel pressure regulator
Just wondering, what are the steps to replacing the fuel pressure regulator in my car, and how much work is it? Estimated Time?

First, why are you doing it? What are your symptoms, and what were your troubleshooting steps? Is there a link to a topic?
It'* a single retaining ring and vac line, then it pulls out. Sometimes it'* difficult to get started.

Someone once told me it might be bad, I'm looking at replacing it just to make sure it'* not, I've had "ok" mpg, when I first got the car I thought I smelt gas but had it checked multiple times and no leaks found, someone said the FPR could leak gas elsewhere...I don't know..you tell me Wren.

After driving, wait 5 minutes and pull the vacuum line off the FPR. If you don't smell gas, don't change it.
OR:
Get a fuel pressure gauge and tell us how long it takes after ignition off for your pressure to bleed down to half the peak reading.
Someone once told me I'd be a millionaire.

I think mine is bad as well. If i drive the car for a little while, then shut it off for 15 minutes or so, it has a hard time starting back up. Is this a good assumption?

No, it'* not. There are 200 different things that can cause that.
Do the check I suggested above. If it doesn't make sense, start another topic for your problem. Yours is not likely to be the same as his, and even if it is, it'* very difficult and confusing to discuss two different problems in one topic.

Where is the FPR? I probably could find it looking under the hood, but the car is outside and I don't feel like going out there right now...brief idea?
