Default My TPS resistance

Is 1.3 kOhms closed and 4.55 kOhms WOT. Is that normal? I was wondering if not quite reaching 4.7 was a problem.

How would I check the voltage? My multimeter has the typical point style probes.

Harpoon the wire with a pin (needle) making sure it does not touch ground, measure the voltage of the pin to ground.

Not sure of the resistance though sorry :?

Got .49v to 4.22v. I'd like 4.5, but does 4.22 sound okay? The FSM says you need above 4v.

Are you getting any driveability issues or check engine light on?

I found the best way to test the sensors is with a paperclip that I insert into the sensor connector from the back. Typically the TPS should be reading .38V to .44V at idle. I always set mine at .4 volts. You should be looking for 4.5 volts at WOT. Make sure that you have a good 5V reference signal and a good ground going into the sensor. Measuring the resistance is not the way we measure the TPS unless you are looking for a flat spot which could be detected via resistance. Hope this helps

I don't think I have any problems related to the TPS, I'm just getting a little happy with the multimeter.

My current problems are:
PCM trying to dump boost
Heatsoak

I don't think any of those are TPS related, unless the PCM thinks my boost is too much for just under WOT.
