Your manifolds were red hot? I've never seen that
The tensioner will move around, thats it'* job to keep the belt nice and tight, how much movement?

Glowing red manifolds usually means the car is running extremely lean. Red is not the correct color for a manifold.
Please check fuel pressure and be nice to the car until you've figured out what is wrong with it.

Is your car supercharged? If it is, which pulley tensioner are you talking about?
Please be more specific by what happens when it is "running bad". Also, turning off and losing power can be two seperate issues. Please describe what happens when the car loses power. Also, describe what happens when the care turns off.
Don't worry about using the right terminology, just describe in your own words what happens. You need to give us a lot more detail than you have in order for us to help you.
I would suggest taking the problems one at a time.

sorry for not being more specific well the car is supercharged and its the pull tensioner right below the supercharger and it moves maybe a half a inch to a inch and makes a good knocking sound when it moves. The exhuast gets red hot by the cat idk if thats normal but i dont think it did that before cuz that last time me and my friend started it it got smoking right by that cat and going in the passanger caparment. With the car shutting off well tryed to move it and it will shut shut off when yo u turn it to the left or right its possible it could be the batter can hold much juice anymore but idk and it will all so turn off if you didnt wait 5 min to give it gas if you gave it gas to early it would shut off

Sounds like your cat is in need of a replacement.
On the tensioner...it should be noted that on the S1'* the tensioners are in different places than the S2'*. Therefore the tensioner you mention is the SC belt and the one lower and back further is the accessory.
