Default Quad driver?

my dad has a 92 ssei, and he keeps gettin a code 58 i think and its for a Quad driver and we dont have any idea what is for or what is does? any help would be appreciated.

Code 58 is actually not a quad driver. Many call it a bug as it'* listed as a security code.

i couldnt remember what # the code was i though it was near 58, but it is saying that it'* the quad driver that is screwed.

im having the same issue with mine, i looked it up and it has something to do with boost and or the pcm, im still not sure what is causeing the problem or how to fix it.

Yep 56 is quad-driver module #2 circuit. But I'm a Northstar guy. So I'll let a gearhead go from here. You can see all the OBD1 codes anytime here within the forum,
