Default Fuel pressure regulator question.

Fuel pressure regulator question.

At the junkyard they had a fuel rail off a 1995 3800 II and it had a torx head indention on the top of the fuel pressure regulator, what is this for?

The FPR on my 96 that exploded did not have this and the fuel injectors looked different.

Thanks
Ron
