Default Parking Brake Engages During Rapid Acceleration

I have a 1995 SE, and recently I have noticed that when I try to accelerate quickly the "brake" light comes on and the alert tone sounds as well. The only cure for getting it to turn off (which doesn't work 100% of the time) is to stop accelerating. It happens especially in colder temperatures and has happened twice to where it would not turn off for several miles (even with trying to pull on the brake with my hand, braking hard with the regular pedal, and even turning the car off and back on). If anyone has any tips, or if this has happened to someone else and you've found the problem and a remedy please reply! Thanks.

I think I heard of someone saying this happened to them recently. I'll try to find the post.

Probably one of my posts. The BRAKE light will come on if the fluid is low. If the car is driven more than 50 feet, the chime will start up as well. (No, really! Try it! Put the parking brake on just one click, so the BRAKE light comes on, then let the car roll forward, and after 50 feet the chime will start.)
