Hey I just got an error code 58 - Personal Automotive Security System ( PASS Key ) Fuel Enable Circuit......can anyone please help me as to what this is and how i can fix it...a few times ive been driving and the car just shuts off like it stopped getting fuel and wont start until it sits for 10 minutes then it fires right up and runs great until it gets warmed up then it gets sluggish...it always gets sluggish when it warms up but only 3 times has it just died and wouldnt start...vats light isnt coming on so i dunno....any ideas?

Code 58 will not cause your problem. It is a known bug in the 92 PCM. PASSKEY or VATS will not kill a running car regardless. All 92'* should always ignore code 58.

Disconnect your battery cables and pull the boots back. Under the boots, you'll likely find corrosion (only visible with boots off). Clean it up, apply dielectric grease, and put the boots back, or simply replace the cables.

This is a common problem x12 a month here.

Also search techinfo for Ground Bus Corrosion.

A 58 is typically something you ignore on a 92, being a PCM bug. VATS is supposed to stop the car from starting to begin with (or shutting off within two minutes of starting with the wrong key).

The stalling is likely a battery connection corrosion issue. Check those out. I don't know if being warmed up affects the battery thing or not, though.

oh i wanted to ask.. could it be corrosion even if it still cranks...cause this thing cranks real strong just doesnt seem to fire

Corrosion will do just that. After electricity has been flowing through corrosion (resistance) it heats up, making the problem worse as you drive.
