Default Heat shield

Hi all,

I just finished replacing the LIM & a complete new UIM. Installed the throttle body and low and behold and extra part.

It'* a heat shield that'* about 8"X4" and it' held in place by 2 mounting holes that have an arc cut out between them.

Any idea where it goes?

Thanks!

G

Is that like an exhaust shield or something? I'm not all that familiar with the Series 1 engines.

Yes, that looks like a heat shield that protects the rack, where the exhaust pipe goes over it....
