I believe that there are two O-rings on the PCV.... are they both on there?

That has caused many problems here before.

I'm with Crash on this one. Definitely examine the PCV system for all proper O-rings and a spring. Some people forget to do the rings and spring when they replace the PCV and it always ends up with crankcase vacuum.

She was given to me so i working the bugs out. BTY. mine looks just like your * Ryan Gold rims and all. Well I fixed the trans cooler line and filled the trans. so i could run the motor a little longer. she seems to rev up and has good power, but on the down side, it has this strange noise coming from under the intake area, revving down .But only the last few RPM'* kinda acts like a loose rod, but up higher. not real loud and hard. I'm thinking maybe the balance rod?
Thanks John

Bummer.

How bad was the failure, and how long did things set before you got to fixing it?

Too late to go back now, obviously, but I'm curious how quickly the damage was done.
