Default Battery leads

Anyone know the thread size of the sidemount battery terminals? My negative terminal is thoroughly stripped and I may have a connection problem. I want to put a short extension on that one and put it on the top terminal, then maybe connect that to the chassis.

Or anything I could put in the terminal to make a tight fit?

If I understand you correctly, this is what you need:

it connects to the top post and allows you to connect side post terminals.

I thought I saw them in the HELP section at the auto parts store but I went on their website and couldn't find one. The image came from here though: http://doityourself.com/store/1916022.htm
