Sqweaky Rear Suspension... fix???
K... its gradually getting worse... as i drive... its normal driving... not rough or loose like its wearing out, but it sqeaks... just eeek...eeek....eeeek as im driving... now i can turn up the radio and not hear it but i kno its stilll there lol
had it happen with an older truck i used to own and it was the springs being dirty... replaced the shocks and it was still there... but with the independant suspension... not sure... springs... shocks... BOTH???
any ideas on how to make it stop?
preferrably without "try replacing this"... been doing that too much lol
btw mine is an ssei with the air-ride suspension... just fyi

well for starters...you do have separate shocks and springs back there.
you could try and grease up the rear springs.
I have run into the past where the squeak came from the rear sway bar center bushings being totally gone. An that would cause metal on metal............squeak squeak... every time you go over a bump or down a bumpy road.
Or it could be your upper shock mounts. Try greasing those as well
heck...get yourself (2) 50 gallon drums of oil...build a pool around your car...fill it with the oil...let soak for 5 days...than drive it to see if you have squeaks than.LOL

I hate squeaks! I'm thinking dry bushings and shock mounts. Try some WD40 on all connection points and see if that doesn't stop things.
I haven't spent a considerable amount of time under my Bonnie yet, but I did have a frame to body mount bushing that went bad on my 1992 Explorer that drove me nuts. Ended up getting new silicon bushings and that squeak went away.

awesome... thanks guys... ill buy a couple cans of wd-40 and well see what happens...

I forgot all about the LPS family! Definitely use the LPS. That stuff is amazing and will stand up to the most extreme conditions - environmental and mechanical. It'* even certified for aviation use, so you know it'* good!
