work estimate, is it fair?
I am thinking of taking the plunge and fixing my bonneville.
I have been told I need new ball joints upper and lower, I got a quote from a mechanic who told me to replace the uppers it would be 400 a side that is everything parts and labor. for lowers 140 a side everything included. Does this seem like a decent price? I have been shopping around and this is the first reasonable price i have heard, I just dont want it to be to good to be true.
If i replace the lowers is it stupid to not replace the uppers? or vise versa?
thanks guys.

ball joints
What year bonneville do you have you should only have lower ball joints front and rear with struts. Do you mean replacing the struts and the strut bearings for the uppers?

I have a 1993 bonneville. This is what a ford mechanic told me, he is a friend of my mothers and looked at it so I dont know how accurate he could be.
