Default 200k - Need Opinions on Tranny Y or N

First off i would like to say, This forum is better than any manual!!!
You guys run a great information packed site.
My delema,
One day after a light snow dusting the wife says she is stuck in the driveway, well it turned out to be we lost the tranny - I almost cried - my baby. That car has never left me stranded and no exeption this time, we still had 1st. The engine is still strong - an oil leak is my only problem looks like it may be the pan or a seal on the lower end. I hope I can repair when doing a tranny swap.

My question is should I go ahead and get a boneyard tranny or would i be better off having this one rebuilt. I will be doing it myself, and I have have been reading all the posts regarding the 95 tranny confusion'*. If I go with a boneyard tranny do the tags have to be identical? I have the FW2. Will a 94 FW2 work - there is one on auto-part right with only 10k on it for 350.00 boy would that be nice if it worked. Im struggling with getting one rebuilt with so many miles on the car, but its still a smooth ride with lots of power, so now im stuck.
What should I do? javascript:emoticon('')
