Default 1992 SSei project car

Hey guys!

I still have the 1992 SSei for sale......In Calgary, Alberta!

I am at a point were I have to decide if I am going to redo it myself or sell as parts!
I need a good SC engine(or whole car!) that is: a 1992 or 1993 SSEi so the engine swap would be basically seamless...to try and put a 94/95 or newer in, would probably invite swap problems I don't want or need! ( Chad could give me his 1994 and I would risk it..... )

seriously though.....
If anyone has or knows of a 92 or 93 with a good sc engine, etc and a shitty body, then let me know or conversely if someone within the sound of my "voice" wants a good project, they can do the swap themselves......This is a great car and only needs the engine to be a super car! The body and interior are excellent and I have put a lot of money into lots of parts over the last 3 years....Hell, there'* a $700 new sony cd deck and sony speakers I put in a year ago! for starters..... I want C$2500 for the whole thing! In US$, that'* basically free!

Here'* a recap:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This car has been sitting for a few months but has a new battery and runs... You could drive it anywhere....

It is a 1992 SSei
excellent black exterior and excellent tan leather interior
It is loaded w/power slider, sony CD deck and speakers
It even has remote keyless entry with 2 remotes!!!!!!
It would make a fine car if someone put some time and effort in a few things:

probably needs a low mileage engine transplant....
needs brakes
Traction control/ABS lights are on all the time
A/C needs a conversion to R134a

What I have done to it in the 3 years I have owned it is:

New struts and rotaor bearing on front ($800)
New front bearings and senors ($600)
new starter ($300)
New waterpump ($300)
2 altenators!!! ($125 each time!)
ignition module ($600!)
cam senor amd throttle postion sensor, crank senor ($500)
new transcooler lines ($300)
new A/C compressor bearings ($300)
new belts ($100)
new Yoko avid +4 tires( 3 years ago....) ($1000)
both axles/CV assemblies are new ($700)
and lots more I probably forgot

This car was originally bought and serviced at Shaw GMC in Calgary

If someone had a 1992/93 car with a good powertrain/sh*tty body, we could marry the two and have an excellent car.....

talk to me........ gsrahn@shaw.ca
