If you can afford the duralast gold that would be your best choice. Remeber to add the core charge to the price if your not exchanging at the time of sale. But dont worry, remember you will get that back ( with receipt!!) when you bring your old one in.

i spent the day messing with it and the bearings are shot and its not charging. i ran some test on it. and with no load i get 13.85 volts. with just the headlights on 12.21 volts. with lights and heater blower im get 11.37 volts constant. i didnt try with lights, blower and rear defrost and amp. so tomrrow im gonna cheak some prices.

An alternator can kill a battery by over-working it. Plan on a new battery now also, or in the very near future. They have an effect on each other.
