New fuel pressure check reading - performance-caused?
If I have a fuel pressure reading that'* just below 40psi, or right above 2.5 bar, at idle, that'* fine, right? The fuel pressure jumps to around the high 40s with just some gas added, so that'* just over 3 bar. Am I still all right? I have a calmly running engine with a 2.6" pulley, and I was wondering if running the engine like this may have stressed out the fuel pump so as to pump less fuel (by a couple PSI) over some time. The car seems good, and the fuel pump is quiet and consistent. Need I worry?
