i have a 94 ssei she starts up fine i put it in drive she drives a mile or two and the tranny quit'* i turn the car off and restart it and it moves again i have to repeat this constantly have anyone had this problem any input would be appreciated.[/b]

IS your transmission fluid ok? Do you need mounts? I am not sure if your transmission is going out or not.

well when im driving the transmission acts as if its in neutral i hit the gas motor revs but car wont go i restar the car and its fine

Sounds like the torque converter is heating up and slipping. That'* just a rough guess from your description.

Do your RPM'* rise more than normal when climbing a hill? The question on what the trans fluid looks/smells like is a good one.

tranny fluid is pinkish it dont smell burnt and my rpms seems normal what ever it is it resets the tranny when i restart the car

Me thinks you need to get a scantool on that car. Where are you from? We may have a scantool-owning member near you.
