Default so lets talk flex pipe

im like 90% sure that my flex pipe is prety much gone because my car is soooooo loud now! i havent had any time to get under the car and take a look yet but im prety positive that that is my problem since the car has 166,xxx miles and its still oem.

Anyone know how hard it is going to be to change?

The ease of changing it depends on whether or not it was welded on. If it'* welded on, you'll need to cut it off with a torch or a reciprocating saw. If it'* not welded on, some hand tools and brute force. The biggest issue is getting the vehicle high enough to where you can get some leverage and clearance with the tools. Ramps and jack stands just don't offer a lot of room to work.

You ever done exhaust work before? It'* going to be a pain. First thing your going to want to do is get all new studs and bolts. Your going to brake every one of them. Might want to close your garage door and do it when all the local kids are at school. there'* going to be some nasty words coming out of your garage.

Then call a young priest and an old priest to exorcise the demons from the garage that like to congregate around fowl language and tool throwing tantrums!

When I put my headers on it took over 6 hours, and I wasn't even done. I ended up driving to have a friend at the exhaust shop fix what I did.
