Default SIMPLE FIX?~help plz

my 96 bonne is blowing air out of the defrost and the foot area and that is it when i switch to air blowing to my face it doesnt work. usually there is a switch you can hear when it changes modes for where the air blows. what i am wondering is, is there a switch that i can change out to fix that problem???

It could be your air mix actuator not switching.

simple...not likely
but can be fixed with some effort.

sounds like you need your 'nipples' fixed

the airmix actuator only moves the blend door for hot or cold air. has nothing to do with the vent location.

wow that sounds like a process but i guess that sounds and looks like a good idea so i might just give it a whirl.

Default is to the windshield/floor. I would check for vacuum at the supply (purple) to the HVAC unit before fixing the nipples. If you have vacuum, then most likely it'* the nipples.
