Kept dying, now won't start...
I have a '95 Bonneville SSEi that was running perfect until a few hours ago. I was driving down the street when the engine just suddenly died. It started right back up, but died again 20 feet down the road. Once again it started right up and drove about a mile before it happened again. I then had to push it to a parking lot, because it refuses to start at all now.
I checked all fuses and everything else I can think of, but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Thanks a ton.

These are a few of our favorite things.
Check for spark at each of the three front cylinders.
Check for fuel at the schrader valve on the fuel rail. (got gas?)
Check for fuel injector pulse.
Also check the battery cables for corrosion. Remove the rubber boots so you can see the cable ends.
Is the tach showing any RPM'* while cranking?
Let us know what you find.

There is fuel at the valve, but not sure about pressure. Waiting for my brother to get home to use his pressure gauge.
Injectors all have pulse.

The tach does show RPMs while cranking. It just acts like it isn't getting any fuel.
My best guess is the fuel pump honestly, but figured I'd post here in the hopes of maybe find some simple problem with these cars that is easy to fix. lol

If the gauge shows low fuel pressure then try to determine if the pump is running or not. It'll just run for a couple seconds each time the key is turned on.
If the pump is running then make sure you have gas in the tank. (Sometimes the gauge suddenly starts showing more fuel than you actually have)
If the pump is not running then check fuses under the dash on passenger side (#6 IIRC)& check the driver'* side ground bus.

Still waiting on the gauge, but the fuel pump definitely makes noises when the key is turned on. I am also very positive it has fuel in the tank, because I just filled it up 2 hours before it broke down.
I will be heading back to the car shortly with a pressure gauge. Anything else I should check for?
Thanks again. The help is very much appreciated.

I have been here several times. Check here first!

Noticed you have fuel pump activity so it may not be this but still check.

I also just went down to my car a while ago and it started right up and drove the 10 miles home without trouble. My brother insists it means the fuel pump cooled down and he insists the fuel pump is still the issue, but I'm going to clean those contacts and see how it goes.
Thanks again guys.
