Say'* who? :? :( I wish it was an L67 SSE, but it'* only an L36 SSE, and with a 4T60E so the tranny wouldn't work for you.

John, if you are intrerested in the motor my cousin can pull it out for like $200. If you cover that fee the motor is yours -only thing is I haven't heard the motor run so it'* a kindy iffie deal for you.

The shop is doing it all as we "speak". Supposed to be done tonight. Tomorrow at the latest.

Unfortuantely, The Missus and I both have to get to work, so I didn't have time to play around. Had to get it fixed and mobile again....

Well, I actually got her back on Tuesday afternoon. Total bill was 4 grand
Expensive, yes, but we really trust this shop.

But the silver lining, and I had to really struggle to find it, is -

I still got my Bonne

I got a new engine cover

I now have a better warranty on my engine and transmission than when I bought the car. MN lemon law is only 30 or 60 days, the new engine and tranny came with a one year P&L warranty

I got a coolant flush

I got a transmission flush

I would include the oil change, too, but I had just done one the night before she goed "boom"....

Sometimes you gotta fight to find the positive.....

Please don't tell me you forgot to put the drain plug back in OR forgot to put the new oil in -ya know, the 5-quart jug you noticed was un-opened in the next morning, sitting right next to the car?

You sure it wasn't that oil jug your son switched the oil with gasoline when he had that big argument with you about his new gf?
