Default SES light and Chip

Alright, my SES light came on today for a very long time. Then, I realized I still had it in Performance driving, so I put it back to normal, about five miinutes later the light went off. Also, how do we do the self scan thing again?

I am also in the process of purchasing a chip. Is Jet the only company that makes one for my car?

Where will it say which code I have that are tripped? Will it say code 13 or something somewhere? I have shorted the circuit and my SES light did flash, but the strangest thing happened. The overheating fan came on in the engine. What is the deal?

It flashes the SES light to display your code. One flash pause, 3 flashes (that'* 13). Read the article. It'* explained there.

Alright, well it kept blinking code thirteen then. And yes I did read the article and it doesn't say how you know which code is being displayed except for 13. So the fan coming on is normal though? Also, my fan never comes on like my car will overheat if I let it sit and idle. The fan will not come on. So i always turn the air on or turn the heater on. Any ideas?
